I woke to Frisky pulling a massive thorn bramble out of my throat. That hurt, but everything else felt better. Our surroundings had changed completely, so I surmised I had been knocked unconscious and my companions had dragged me to safety. A very close call. I thought it over carefully and decided I was done for the moment; learning the spell would be beyond my ability for some time, and I had almost died. We would need to deal with the guardians somehow, and then I would need to return – perhaps years later – to learn the spell.

Since Bern was in the area, still searching for a hag that was playing hard to get, I let him know I was leaving and introduced him to the newer Glorious Blades.

We discussed next steps. Rowen was in town and wanted to go visit the Gorthstone immediately once she realized what we had found. The rest of us wanted to give the Druune time to calm down before poking them again. But, apparently, Rowen has a magic amulet she nbeeds to touch the Gorthstone with, and then report back to Ygraine.

Since we were in the area, we decided to return to Harrowmore a day after we petitioned for entry and see if they would let us in. This time they did. We had vague plans to explore some unknown territory after that.

Fritzy talked her way in to see Lady Harrowmorer and played her flute, which prompted a private audience. Lady Harrowmore spoke of her 6 year old daughter Violet, who either died or was abducted recently. The only clue is an unearthed skeleton found the next day. She suspects the nag lord, and would like us to investigate the matter, offering 500gp per person if we can retrrieve her daughter. We also passed on the message and invitation from Aspith Raptappin.

Sanfire met up with a young boy who claimed to be Violet’s sister, and said that there were a lot of crows around the night she disappeared. He thinks that the crows took Violet. There was also mention of cultists, who dress like goths, which could be viewed as “crow style”.
